ANALISIS PERAN SINEMATOGRAFI SEBAGAI MEDIA KOMUNIKASI VISUAL DALAM MENDUKUNG EFEKTIFITAS MONITORING PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN RUMAH SAKIT PKU UNIMUDA SORONG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sinematografi sebagai media komunikasi visual dalam mendukung efektivitas pemantauan kemajuan proyek pembangunan Rumah Sakit PKU Universitas Pendidikan Muhammadiyah Sorong serta menganalisis dampak penerapan sinematografi terhadap efektivitas pelaporan proyek. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih dominannya penggunaan laporan tertulis dan dokumentasi fotografi konvensional dalam monitoring proyek pembangunan yang dinilai kurang mampu menggambarkan kondisi lapangan secara menyeluruh, kontekstual, dan komunikatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari Project Manager, Site Operation Manager, Tim Dokumentasi/Videografer, serta Tim Humas yang terlibat langsung dalam proses dokumentasi dan monitoring proyek pembangunan Rumah Sakit PKU Unimuda Sorong. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan elemen-elemen sinematografi seperti komposisi gambar, sudut pengambilan gambar, ukuran bidikan, pergerakan kamera, pencahayaan, warna, serta editing visual mampu meningkatkan kualitas penyampaian informasi kemajuan proyek secara lebih jelas, sistematis, dan komunikatif. Penggunaan video sinematografis juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap efektivitas pemantauan proyek karena mempermudah pemangku kepentingan dalam memahami kondisi aktual di lapangan, meningkatkan transparansi pelaporan, serta membantu proses evaluasi pekerjaan secara lebih objektif. Selain itu, dokumentasi visual berbasis sinematografi dinilai lebih menarik, informatif, dan mudah dipahami dibandingkan laporan konvensional berbasis teks dan foto statistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sinematografi memiliki peran strategis sebagai media komunikasi visual dalam mendukung efektivitas pemantauan dan pelaporan kemajuan proyek pembangunan. Penerapan teknik sinematografi secara tepat mampu meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi visual proyek sehingga kemajuan informasi dapat disampaikan secara lebih efektif kepada seluruh pemangku kepentingan.
