Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak lingkungan Asrama Putri Ma’had Bilal Bin Rabah terhadap motivasi belajar santri Muhammadiyah Boarding School Kabupaten Sorong Papua Barat Daya, serta mengidentifikasi faktor penunjang dan penghambat motivasi belajar santri di lingkungan asrama tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi non-partisipan, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian meliputi wakil mudir Ma’had Bilal Bin Rabah, dua pembina/musyrifah, dan delapan santri Muhammadiyah Boarding School Kabupaten Sorong Papua Barat Daya yang telah tinggal lebih dari satu tahun di asrama putri. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Keabsahan data diuji melalui perpanjangan pengamatan, peningkatan ketekunan, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan asrama putri Ma’had Bilal Bin Rabah memiliki dampak positif signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar santri melalui fasilitas yang memadai dan lingkungan yang kondusif. Faktor penunjang motivasi belajar meliputi adanya jadwal harian yang teratur, tata tertib yang tegas dan konsisten, bimbingan dan pengawasan intensif dari Musyrifah, serta sistem penghargaan dan hukuman. Integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman melalui pembiasaan ibadah rutin, pembentukan karakter islami, dan pengembangan budaya religius juga berperan penting sebagai faktor penunjang. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat motivasi belajar yang teridentifikasi adalah kurangnya kesadaran diri santri, kurangnya respon orang tua, pelanggaran aturan asrama oleh orang tua, perbedaan kemampuan antar santri. This research aims to explore the impact of the Ma'had Bilal Bin Rabah Female Dormitory environment on the learning motivation of Muhammadiyah Boarding School students in Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors for students' learning motivation within that dormitory environment. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive field research design. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Research informants included the deputy mudir of Ma'had Bilal Bin Rabah, two mentors/musyrifah, and eight female students of Muhammadiyah Boarding School Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua, who had resided in the dormitory for more than one year. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Data credibility was tested through prolonged engagement, persistent observation, and triangulation. The research findings indicate that the Ma'had Bilal Bin Rabah female dormitory environment has a significant positive impact on students' learning motivation through adequate facilities and a conducive environment. Supporting factors for learning motivation include a regular daily schedule, strict and consistent regulations, intensive guidance and supervision from the Musyrifah, and a system of rewards and punishments. The integration of Islamic values through routine religious practices, the formation of Islamic character, and the development of a religious culture also play an important role as supporting factors. Meanwhile, the identified inhibiting factors for learning motivation are a lack of student self-awareness, insufficient parental response, parental violation of dormitory rules, and differences in abilities among students.
