This page outlines the full workflow a manuscript follows, from submission through to publication. For details specific to the review stage, see the Peer Review Process page.
Manuscript submission
Authors submit their manuscript online via the journal's OJS system, formatted according to the Author Guidelines and manuscript template. A submission acknowledgment is sent automatically.
Editorial screening
The editorial team checks scope fit, formatting compliance, and originality (similarity check). Manuscripts that do not pass are returned to the author with an explanation.
Peer review
The manuscript undergoes double-blind review by at least two reviewers. See the Peer Review Process for full details of this stage.
Revision
Authors revise the manuscript according to reviewer and editor feedback, and resubmit within the given deadline along with a point-by-point response to reviewers.
Editorial decision
The Editor-in-Chief issues a final decision: Accept, Reject, or (where an additional revision round is needed) further Revision.
Copyediting and layout
Accepted manuscripts are copyedited for language and consistency, then formatted into the journal's publication layout (galley) by the Copyeditor and Layout Editor.
Author proofreading
The corresponding author reviews the typeset proof for accuracy before final publication. Only typographical corrections are accepted at this stage.
Publication and indexing
The article is published online, assigned to an issue, and made freely available under the journal's Open Access Statement. Metadata is submitted to indexing services (Garuda, Google Scholar) per the journal's Indexing partners.
