Peningkatan Program Posyandu Balita Di Kelurahan Klamasen Kabupaten Sorong Papua Barat Daya

Abstract

Posyandu of toddlers in Klamasen Village, Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua Province is a health program that aims to reduce maternal mortality, infant mortality, and stunting and wasting in toddlers. The problems found are low maternal compliance with the immunization program at the posyandu of toddlers, low knowledge of mothers of toddlers, lack of facilities, and low compliance in implementation in supporting program implementation. The importance of this devotion is that this service uses a persuasive approach with interview techniques, observation, along posyandu toddlers program. Participation from lecturers and students acts as a facilitator and educator of cadres and mothers of toddlers. The results of this activity are education provided by cadres in making routine schedules and 5 table services to improve posyandu program. The mothers of toddlers feel more aware of the health of their toddlers in the form of good nutrition, as well as the importance of clean and healthy living behavior. The importance of this activity is that it can increase the knowledge of mothers of toddlers about the risk of cultural practices that do not support pregnancy and increase the interest of mothers of toddlers to come to the posyandu with the 5 table service education
