Abstract

This study aims to find out how effective the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model is on the learningoutcomes of science and science student in grade V of SD Negeri 2 Sorong City. This type of research is quantitave research and uses the One Group Pre-test design. The population of this study is all student in grade V of SD Negeri 2 Sorong City for the 2024 academic year. The sample used was 25 students. The sampling technique is a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique uses observation sheets and performance tests (pretest- and posttest) The results of the data analysis used that the ablity value of the POE learning model wa 0,603 and atrer treating the posttest POE learning model was 0,882 and was in the very good category. From these results, there is a significant difference in the ablity the ability of the POE before and after using the POE learning model.
