Implementasi Literasi Sains dalam Pembelajaran IPAS pada Siswa Kelas V SD YPK Yeflio Kabupaten Sorong

This research aims to describe the implementation of scientific literacy in science and science learning for fifth grade students at YPK Yeflio Elementary School, Sorong Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach which aims to understand symptoms that do not require quantification. The data collection technique used in this research is three techniques, namely observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this research were students at YPK Yeflio Elementary School, Sorong Regency, class V and class V teachers at YPK Yeflio Elementary School, Sorong Regency. Based on the results of observations and interviews, it was obtained: 1. Student literacy is quite influenced by two factors, namely external and internal factors. The external factor in question is the introduction of literacy from an early age in the family and surrounding community. As well as internal factors within the students themselves, namely the students' lack of interest in reading about scientific literacy. 2. Teachers must further improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in schools so that they can foster students' interest and motivation in Scientific Literacy at school
