Post-pandemic, the shift to remote work systems has increased digital technology intensity, potentially inducing digital fatigue and reducing employees' psychological well-being. This study analyzed the effect of digital fatigue on psychological well-being among 103 remote workers in Indonesia selected through purposive sampling (criteria: ≥6 months remote work, ≥4 hours digital activity/day, age 22–45 years). Instruments: Indonesian Zoom Exhaustion and Fatigue Scale (ZEF-I; ω = 0.755–0.924) and Indonesian PERMA-Profiler (α = 0.929). Simple linear regression showed digital fatigue had a significant negative effect on psychological well-being (B = -0.336, β = -0.347, p < 0.001). Multiple regression showed only motivational fatigue was significant (B = -2.057, β = -0.481, p = 0.024), while general, visual, social, and emotional fatigue were not significant. Loss of intrinsic drive to participate in digital activities is the primary factor decreasing psychological well-being. This study emphasizes the importance of intrinsic motivation enhancement strategies, digital recovery programs, and strengthening meaning in work.
