Penyesuaian Diri Pasca Melahirkan Bagi Wanita yang Hamil Pranikah
Abstract
Premarital pregnancy is a challenging condition for a woman, especially a young mother who requires adjustment, both physical and psychological. This study aims to analyze in depth the dynamics of self-adjustment in young mothers who experience postpartum premarital pregnancy, and focuses on the factors that influence their ability to adapt to their new role as mothers. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with purposive sampling technique through a case study approach. Data were collected through structured interviews with a young postpartum premarital mother. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing which was validated through triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the subject experienced significant emotional changes, not optimal self-defense mechanisms, and frustration related to the loss of opportunities to continue the education that had been taken. Nevertheless, the subject showed the ability to think rationally, learn from experience, and had a fairly realistic attitude in dealing with his postpartum life. Overall, postnatal adjustment for young premarital mothers is a complex and multidimensional process influenced by emotional, social, and economic factors, and requires comprehensive support.
