Archiving Policy
JURISMUDA:JURNAL RISET HUKUM UNIMUDA is committed to the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of its published scholarly content. We recognize the importance of safeguarding the scholarly record for future researchers, historians, and the public.
To ensure the permanence of all published articles, JURISMUDA:JURNAL RISET HUKUM UNIMUDA employs a robust, multi-faceted digital preservation strategy.
1. Publisher's Digital Archive (Internal Preservation)
All published content is securely archived on the primary servers of the Faculty Of Law Universitas Pendidikan Muhammadiyah Sorong. These servers are managed by our internal IT department and are subject to regular backups and data integrity checks to ensure long-term availability and protection against data loss.
2. Third-Party Preservation Network (PKP PN)
This journal utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve its content. As an OJS-based journal, Jurnal Konstitusi participates in the PKP PN, which provides free preservation services by ingesting content into a secure, distributed, and "dark" archive (LOCKSS-based) long into the future. This ensures that the content will be available even if the journal's primary website ceases operation.
3. National Repository Preservation
To ensure redundant preservation and national accessibility, JURISMUDA:JURNAL RISET HUKUM UNIMUDA also deposits all published content in the following national repository:
-
Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital): All articles are indexed and archived in the Garuda portal, the national reference database for Indonesian scholarly publications, managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
4. Author Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the final published version (Version of Record) of their articles in their institutional repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial subject-based repositories immediately upon publication.
To ensure the integrity of the scholarly record, authors must provide a full bibliographic citation to the original publication in Jurnal Konstitusi (including a link to the journal's article page and the article's DOI).
5. Perpetual Access
In the unlikely event that JURISMUDA:JURNAL RISET HUKUM UNIMUDA ceases publication, the publisher (Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia) is committed to making the entire back catalog of published articles permanently available through the PKP Preservation Network, the Garuda portal, and its own internal archives.
