Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan E-Modul Etnobiologi Berbasis Kearfian Lokal Suku Moi di UNIMUDA Sorong

This study aims to analyze the need for developing an ethnobiology e-module based on the local wisdom of the Moi Tribe as contextual teaching material at UNIMUDA Sorong. This study is motivated by the importance of integrating local knowledge into higher education to enhance learning relevance, foster ecological awareness, and nurture appreciation for local culture. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Needs analysis was conducted among students and lecturers of the Ethnobiology course using a qualitative descriptive approach and a Likert scale. The results indicate a very high level of need for the e-module across four aspects: content, learning media, learning strategies, and critical thinking development. The developed e-module is expected not only to present biological content and local culture in an integrated manner but also to encourage active and contextual learning. This study concludes that the development of an ethnobiology e-module based on Moi Tribe’s local wisdom is a strategic step in improving the quality of biology education that is relevant to local needs and global challenges.
